Hugo Weaving (The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Little Fish, The Matrix, V for Vendetta) along with Dan Wylie (Chopper, Romper Stomper, The Water Diviner) and Matt Nable (Underbelly, Riddick, Killer Elite) have been cast in Jasper Jones, set to commence principal photography on 26th October in the south west of Western Australia.
Susan Prior (Animal Kingdom, Muriel’s Wedding, The Rover) and Myles Pollard (X-Men Origins: Wolverine, McLeods Daughters) also join the already announced cast of Academy Award® nominee Toni Collette (The Sixth Sense, Little Miss Sunshine, Muriel’s Wedding, Miss You Already), Levi Miller (Terra Nova, Pan, upcoming Blue Dog), Angourie Rice (These Final Hours, upcoming The Nice Guys) and Aaron McGrath (Glitch).
